Dedicated to Communities

Each year, SPJST continues to build on its original mission and significantly enriches the lives of its members and those whom they serve. In 2024, SPJST members devoted more than 93,000 service hours to their communities and gave $1,354,239 to charitable causes and programs!

 

A Vital Community Role

SPJST works with a variety of local and statewide service organizations to maximize community impact. SPJST is proud to:

  • Address hunger issues through local food pantries and soup kitchens.
  • Empower local lodges through numerous matching funds programs, allowing members to address community needs in their hometowns.
  • Contribute $94,000 to West Benevolence Fund in 2016.
  • Awarded $55,000 in scholarships to college-bound students in 2025.

SPJST also gives back to the following organizations:

  • Ronald McDonald House
  • Animal shelters
  • Children’s hospitals
  • Schools
  • Veterans organizations
