Dedicated to Communities
Each year, SPJST continues to build on its original mission and significantly enriches the lives of its members and those whom they serve. In 2023, SPJST members devoted around 84,000 service hours to their communities and gave over $233,000 to deserving service organizations.
A Vital Community Role
SPJST works with a variety of local and statewide service organizations to maximize community impact. SPJST is proud to:
- Address hunger issues through local food pantries and soup kitchens.
- Empower local lodges through numerous matching funds programs, allowing members to address community needs in their hometowns.
- Contribute $94,000 to West Benevolence Fund in 2016.
- Award over $60,000 in scholarships to college-bound students in 2023.
